nnok Cricket Betting — Best Odds on BPL, IPL and T20 Matches
Make the most popular sport in Bangladesh even more enjoyable. nnok brings odds for all cricket formats and major tournaments in one place, with easy payments and fast withdrawals.
Cricket's three formats and major competitions
T20, ODI and Test each have their own pace and strategy. As a bettor, understanding these differences matters because the odds structure varies across each format.
T20 — fast-paced cricket
In this 20-over format, the situation can change with every ball. Major leagues like BPL and IPL are played in T20 format, making it the most familiar format for Bangladeshi fans.
ODI — a mix of strategy and patience
In a 50-over match, the toss, batting order and pitch conditions carry a lot of weight. Most ICC World Cup matches and bilateral series are played in ODI format.
Test — a five-day contest
In Test cricket a draw is a valid result, so the odds structure differs from T20 or ODI. Over the longer timeframe, pitch conditions and weather gradually influence the odds.
Major Tournaments
BPL (Bangladesh Premier League) is Bangladesh's biggest franchise tournament. Alongside it, international competitions such as IPL, T20 World Cup and ICC Champions Trophy are also popular for betting at nnok. Bangladesh Tigers' home and away series attract the most interest from local fans.
How betting on football and other sports works differently
In cricket there are separate betting markets for every event from the toss through to the last over — wickets, runs, boundaries and even the total runs in a specific over. In football the main result market (home win, draw, away win) is relatively straightforward, but special markets such as goalscorer, corner count or the minute of a goal are also available.
Because a draw is possible in Test cricket, odds are set across three outcomes — win, loss or draw — which is similar to football's 1X2 market. In T20 or ODI, however, there are usually only two outcomes, and the odds behave more like a football Asian line market.
For those who want to enjoy sports betting in a virtual environment beyond cricket, nnok also has a separate Virtual Sports Betting section where you can bet on computer-generated matches at any time.
Cricket's 5 popular betting markets
Each market has its own strategy and structure. The most commonly used markets are briefly explained below.
Match Winner
A straightforward bet on which team will win the match. In T20 and ODI there are only two options — Team A or Team B.
Toss Market
You can bet on who will win the toss before the match starts. It is simple and does not depend on the match result.
Top Batsman
A bet on which batsman from a given team will score the most runs in the match. A performance-based market within a single innings.
Total Runs — Over/Under
A bet on whether the total runs in an innings will be over or under a set number.
Multi Bet / Accumulator
Bets on multiple matches are combined into one. You win only if all selections are correct — higher risk, but potentially higher return.
Run Handicap
The weaker team is given a head start and the stronger team is set back. This makes the match look more even on paper, but the outcome is judged according to the handicap — the concept is easy to understand without any run or stake example.
Reading decimal, fractional and American odds
Odds at nnok are shown in three formats. All three express the same probability — only the way they are written differs. With a little practice you can read any of them.
| Format | Team A Odds | Team B Odds | How to read |
|---|---|---|---|
| Decimal | 2.25 | 1.25 | Stake × Odds = total return (including stake) |
| Fractional | 5/4 | 1/4 | ৳5 profit for every ৳4 wagered (or ৳1 profit for every ৳4 wagered) |
| American | +125 | -400 | Plus = profit on a 100 stake; minus = how much you need to stake to win 100 |
Decimal 2.25 = Fractional 5/4 = American +125
If the bet wins, total return is ৳450 (৳250 profit + ৳200 stake back)
If the bet loses, you lose ৳200.
Decimal 1.25 = Fractional 1/4 = American -400
American minus odds mean you need to stake ৳400 to win ৳100 profit.
If the ৳200 bet wins, total return is ৳250 (৳50 profit + ৳200 stake back).
For a multi bet, the odds of all selections are multiplied together. For example, if three selections have decimal odds of 1.50, 1.60 and 1.70, the combined odds are 1.50 × 1.60 × 1.70 = 4.08 (approximately), giving a total return of ৳408 on a ৳100 stake — but only if all three selections are correct; if any one of them is wrong, you lose the full ৳100.

Odds shift with every wicket — how in-play betting works
Betting while a match is in progress is called live or in-play betting. In cricket this is especially interesting because every wicket, boundary or maiden over instantly changes a team's chances of winning.
Say Team A is batting
If 3 wickets fall in the first 10 overs, Team A's odds to win will rise (because they are under pressure) and Team B's odds will shorten. If a big partnership follows, the odds can swing back the other way.
Change in the over-under market
When total runs in the first innings are close to the set line, over-under odds update frequently. When a pace bowler comes on in the final overs, the chance of fewer total runs increases.
In live betting you have less time to decide. Understanding the markets well beforehand makes it easier to stay calm and decide during the match. Remember, betting is for entertainment — see our Responsible Gaming page for guidelines on playing responsibly.
In-Play Betting — Key Points
- When a wicket falls, the batting team's odds rise and the bowling team's odds shorten.
- Odds are reassessed at the end of the powerplay.
- Rain or bad light can temporarily suspend live markets.
- Death bowling statistics in the final overs affect run-rate markets.
- Not all markets may be open at all times during in-play.
Some useful tips for cricket betting
- Understand the format first: The same approach does not work for T20 and Test. Analyse the markets for each format separately.
- Focus on one market: Start by focusing on a single market such as match winner or top batsman rather than betting across all markets at once.
- Set a budget: Decide how much you will bet before each match. Do not go beyond what you can afford to lose.
- Check the stats: A team's recent form and pitch type (spin-friendly or pace-friendly) can help when choosing a market.
- Be careful with multi bets: Combined odds in a multi bet can look attractive, but one wrong selection means the entire bet loses — so keep the number of selections low.
- Treat it as entertainment: Cricket betting is for fun. It is better not to see it as a source of income or a way to recover money you have lost.
